The Palheiro Golf course located in the beautiful Palheiro Estate overlooking the capital city, Funchal. Designed by Cabel Robinson, this 18 hole, par 72 course requires skill and attention with tight fairways and fast greens. Palheiro Golf winds around the Palheiro Estate which is famous for its pine forests, centennial trees, flowering shrubs and lush vegetation. The Palheiro Golf clubhouse, perched 500 meters above sea level, boasts a panoramic terrace which commands unlimited views of the Funchal harbour and the Atlantic Ocean. The stylish Palheiro Golf clubhouse is further complemented by the superb restaurant, managed by the award winning Relais and Châteaux hotel Casa Velha do Palheiro.

The Santo da Serra Golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr is situated near the picturesque village of Santo da Serra, with 27 holes this course offers multiple combinations overlooking some of the most fabulous scenery on the island. Generous fairways, tight undulating greens are challenging to players of all levels, the home of the Madeira Island Open also has a great clubhouse, restaurant and facilities.

The Porto Santo Golf course is located on Madeira’s sister island, Porto Santo, a 15 minute flight and the newest addition to Madeira Golf. The 18 hole, par 72 course deisgned by renowned golfer, Seve Ballesteros, has a combination of long and short style holes. Much care has been made to make the most of the natural landscape, offering magnificent cliff top par 3s as well as long par 5s overlooking the 9 kilometer beach. The trendy clubhouse offers a pro shop and buggy hire as well as bar and restaurant with a view.
